Korea Trade Association hosts first K-Premium Consumer Goods Expo in Los Angeles

The Korea Trade Association (KITA), in collaboration with Expo Forum, successfully held the ‘2026 LA K-Premium Consumer Goods Expo’ at the Magic Box LA from October 22 to 24. This event marked the first time the B2B and B2C integrated exhibition was hosted in North America, targeting the growing demand for Korean products in the region.

Eighty-five Korean companies across the cosmetics, fashion, food, and household goods sectors participated with 120 booths. The expo facilitated over 400 export consultations between participating companies and approximately 120 local buyers from major distributors, including H Mart, Sally Beauty, and Del Sol. These sessions focused on expanding market access across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

In addition to business matching, the event attracted approximately 16,000 local visitors through consumer-facing programs. Activities included K-beauty makeup shows, K-food cooking demonstrations, and K-pop cultural events, such as a fan meeting with singer Ailee. Following the success in Los Angeles, KITA plans to expand its export marketing support for Korean consumer goods into Latin American markets.
