Korea University Anam Hospital expands medical cooperation with Mongolia

Korea University Anam Hospital held the ‘2026 Mongolian Patients’ Night’ in Ulaanbaatar to strengthen medical cooperation and expand access for Mongolian patients seeking treatment in South Korea.

Attended by approximately 100 people, including hospital leadership, local medical professionals, and representatives from organizations such as the Center for Health Development (CHD) and the Korea Tourism Organization, the event focused on establishing a more robust system for treating severe and high-difficulty cases. Key discussions included medical staff exchanges, specialized fields like cancer treatment and robotic surgery, and the creation of a post-treatment follow-up system within Mongolia to ensure patient stability after returning from Korea.

During the event, medical experts provided health lectures on gynecological and prostate cancers. The hospital aims to leverage local networks to facilitate the referral of complex cases and provide continuous care through partnerships with Mongolian healthcare institutions.
