Korea University hockey team to play exhibition games in Alberta

The Korea University hockey team is scheduled to visit Central Alberta for a series of exhibition games as part of a provincial tour.

The Korea University Tigers will face the Olds Grizzlys at the Olds Sportsplex on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Following this, the team will play the Blackfalds Bulldogs of the British Columbia Hockey League at the Eagle Builders Centre on Sept. 9.

The tour is organized by Wooje Sung, a head coach at the Calgary International Hockey Academy. Moe Jamal, owner and general manager of the Olds Grizzlys, noted that the Korean team consists of players aged 18 to 22 and operates as a well-structured, year-round program.
