Korean Air conducts domestic and international social welfare activities

Korean Air has conducted various social contribution activities both domestically and internationally ahead of the Chuseok holiday. In Seoul, employees from Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, and Korean Air C&D Service participated in a meal service event at a senior welfare center, providing holiday meals and gift sets to approximately 600 elderly residents.

Additionally, a joint volunteer group from Korean Air and Asiana Airlines performed environmental cleanup activities along a 1.8km section of the Gaehwasan Mountain trail.

Internationally, Korean Air’s ‘Sarang Nanumhoe’ volunteer group visited the Chiang Dao region in northern Thailand from October 10 to 14. The group worked to improve living conditions for the impoverished Daraang ethnic minority by assisting with cement paving and gravel work on village roads, while also engaging in cultural exchanges and food sharing with local children.
