Korean Air to resume Incheon-Oita flights to expand Kyushu network

Korean Air has announced the resumption of its Incheon to Oita route, aimed at enhancing travel connectivity to the Kyushu region of Japan. The service is scheduled to operate four times a week—on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—from October 25, 2025, through March 26, 2027.

The airline will utilize the Airbus A321neo aircraft for this route, which features a total of 182 seats, including 8 Prestige Class seats and 174 Economy Class seats. The flight schedule includes a morning departure from Incheon and a midday return from Oita.

By adding Oita to its existing network of flights to Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagasaki, and Kagoshima, Korean Air completes its flight coverage across five major cities in the Kyushu region. This allows travelers to create multi-city itineraries, such as entering through one city and departing from Oita, facilitating more efficient exploration of the region's hot spring destinations like Beppu and Yufuin.
