Korean companies launch diverse Chuseok gift sets

Various Korean companies are launching specialized gift sets for the upcoming 2026 Chuseok holiday, targeting diverse consumer trends including premium quality, convenience, and value.

Samjin Amook has released seven types of Chuseok gift sets, ranging from premium lines to meal kits. Their offerings include the ‘Lee Geum-bok Masterpiece Set’, which features handmade fish cakes made with 100% pollack meat and MSC-certified seafood, and the ‘Samjin Hansang Table Setting Set’, designed for convenience with various frozen meal kits. The company is offering volume discounts of up to 10% for bulk purchases.

Ceramics brand Gwangjuyo is also holding a Chuseok gift promotion from August 24 to September 27. The promotion features the new ‘Mokbuyong Damhwa’ edition, which reinterprets traditional patterns for modern tableware. Benefits include special gift packaging, a ‘10+1’ event on select items, and discounts on gift wrapping. The sale is available through online channels and major department stores.
