Korean companies lead 2026 AX Quality Satisfaction Index

Coway and LG Uplus have been named top performers in the inaugural 2026 AI Experience (AX) Quality Satisfaction Index (AX-QEI). The index, developed by the Korean Standards Association (KSA) and the Korean Society for Quality Management, evaluates how consumers perceive the quality of products and services integrated with artificial intelligence.

Coway secured first place in the water purifier category. The company was recognized for its use of AI and IoT through its IoCare+ smart management app, which allows for precise control of water temperature and volume. Its products also featured AI-based smart diagnostics and automated features like the Smart Moving Faucet.

LG Uplus took first place in the IPTV category for its U+tv service. The company received high marks for AI-driven content search, voice control, and preventative maintenance features. Key technologies include the 'ixi' voice search and chatbot, as well as AI-generated subtitles that can be adjusted within videos.
