Korean Film Festival returns to Australia in August 2026

The Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) is scheduled to take place from 20–25 August 2026. The program features ten films, including nine Australian premieres, highlighting various voices in contemporary Korean cinema.

Key films in the lineup include ‘Once We Were Us’, directed by Kim Do-young, and ‘The Ugly’ by Yeon Sang-ho. Other featured titles are ‘Project Y’, ‘The Day She Returns’, ‘Maze’, and ‘Journey There’. Several directors and actors are expected to attend select Sydney screenings for post-screening Q&A sessions.
