Korean Webtoon Exhibition to Open in Los Angeles
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the Korean Cultural Center Los Angeles (KCCLA) will host the ‘2026 K-Comics Origin Los Angeles: Korean Webtoon Experience Exhibition’ from September 11 through October 17.
The exhibition aims to trace the evolution of Korean comics over the last century, focusing on the transition to webtoons—a digital and mobile-centric storytelling format. Featured works include popular titles such as ‘All of Us Are Dead’, ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’, and ‘Solo Leveling’.
Visitors can engage with immersive installations and interactive experiences designed to bring these digital stories into a physical setting. The event will also highlight the ‘One Source Multi-Use’ (OSMU) ecosystem, demonstrating how single stories are adapted into various media, including live-action dramas, animation, and games.
