Korean zombie films 'Zona Zero' and 'Minha Filha é um Zumbi' debut in Brazil

The South Korean thriller "Zona Zero" (also known as Colony), directed by Yeon Sang‑ho, will open in Brazilian cinemas on 1 October. The plot follows a biotech conference where a rapidly mutating virus is released, forcing survivors to battle evolving infected. The cast includes Jun Ji‑hyun, Ji Chang‑wook and others, and Paris Filmes is handling distribution.

The comedy‑horror "Minha Filha é um Zumbi" by director Pil Gam‑seong arrives on 3 September, distributed by O2 Play. Based on Lee Yoon‑chang’s webtoon, it follows a father protecting his daughter who retains consciousness after a zombie infection, blending humor, drama and horror. The film stars Lee Jung‑eun, Cho Jung‑suke and features a Portuguese dub with special participation from Omelete staff.
