KoresponDance International Festival Launches at Žďár nad Sázavou, Czech Republic
The 14th edition of the KoresponDance international festival begins on 17 July and runs through 19 July at Žďár nad Sázavou Castle. The three‑day event transforms the historic venue and the Kulturně‑kreativní centrum Vysočina (KKCV) into an open‑stage platform for contemporary dance, new circus, music, visual art and public workshops.
The festival showcases the new Hub 800 programme, a creative platform focused on modern art, education and community engagement. Highlights include the Czech premiere of Albán Richard’s INSANE project, collaborations with local residents, and a closing concert titled Her Country featuring composer‑pianist Nikol Bóková, singer Bella Adamová and renowned hornist Radek Baborák.
Additional offerings comprise workshops, master‑classes, children’s programmes, DJ sets and a new youth‑focused line‑up called KoresponDance Next.
