Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu and Brian “Head” Welch, former members of the nu metal band Korn, reunited on stage on September 26th in Boise, Idaho. The performance took place during the grand opening of a new facility launched by the Christian collective The Whosoevers.
The reunion featured several collaborations, including a performance with Lacey Sturm, the former vocalist of Flyleaf. Additionally, Fieldy and Welch joined the band P. O. D. during their set to perform a cover of the Beastie Boys song “Sabotage”.
This appearance marks a significant moment for the musicians, particularly Fieldy, who stepped down from Korn in 2021 and had previously indicated he was not in contact with other band members. The event highlighted connections between various artists within the Christian metal scene.
