Korona Kielce coach Jacek Zieliński defends long-term project

Korona Kielce coach Jacek Zieliński has addressed the recent poor performance of his team despite significant summer investment. Following a loss to Pogoń Szczecin, Zieliński emphasized that the club's rebuilding process is a long-term project that requires more time to yield results.

Club owner Łukasz Maciejczyk spent over 6 million euros on new players during the summer transfer window. While Zieliński noted signs of improved play and individual talent, he admitted the team still lacks the necessary cohesion and consistency. He noted that many players joined the squad late and are still adjusting to different stages of preparation.

Addressing rumors regarding job security and mounting pressure from fans, Zieliński stated that pressure is a daily reality in football and that he does not feel any unusual strain. He expressed confidence that the current work will eventually lead to expected results. The team's next major test is an upcoming match against Lech Poznań.
