Korona Kielce signs Colombian winger Camilo Mena

Korona Kielce has completed its summer transfer window by signing Colombian winger Camilo Mena on loan from Lechia Gdańsk. The 23-year-old, who was a key player for Lechia last season with five goals and ten assists, joins the club with an option for a permanent transfer.

Coach Jacek Zieliński praised the acquisition, noting that the team specifically required high-quality speed and playmaking ability on the right wing. Mena is the eighth player joined during this window, following arrivals such as Patrik Hellebrand, Ondřej Lingr, and Morgan Faßbender. The club has reportedly spent over 6 million euros on summer reinforcements, a club record.

Despite the significant investment in various positions, Zieliński noted that the club did not seek a traditional center-forward, relying instead on Mariusz Stępiński and Daniel Bąk to lead the attack.
