Korona Kielce signs midfielder Kamil Jakubczyk to 2026‑2030 contract
Korona Kielce confirmed the signing of 21‑year‑old midfielder Kamil Jakubczyk from Arka Gdynia on a four‑year deal running until 30 June 2030. The transfer follows the club's earlier acquisition of striker Patrik Hellebrand and represents its second summer signing aimed at strengthening the midfield.
Jakubczyk, who featured in 31 Ekstraklasa matches for Arka last season, scored two goals and recorded one assist. He had previously attracted interest from clubs such as Widzew Łódź, Jagiellonia Białystok, Lech Poznań and Górnik Zabrze before opting for Korona. The player began his professional career with Pogon Szczecin, later moving to Arka via a loan spell, and amassed 33 appearances across all competitions, adding three goals and one assist.
Korona's sporting director highlighted Jakubczyk’s age, experience in Poland’s top tier and ambition as fitting the club’s plan to build a more competitive midfield core and pursue a qualitative leap in performance.
