Korzo Festival honors filmmaker Živko Nikolić

The fifth edition of the Korzo Festival in Nikšić has commenced, featuring a special tribute to the late filmmaker Živko Nikolić. The festival, which aims to honor significant cultural figures from Nikšić, dedicated this year's program to Nikolić, a prominent figure in Yugoslav and Montenegrin cinema.

During the opening event, actor Miodrag Krivokapić, who appeared in the classic film ‘U ime naroda’, spoke about Nikolić’s character and professional precision. Krivokapić described the director as a ‘monk of our cinematography’ who possessed incredible patience and a unique ability to discover and promote young talent.

The festival program also included a performance of the musical ‘The Magic Flute’ by an Italian acting ensemble. Organizers noted that the festival serves as a way to remember influential artists who have shaped the city's cultural heritage.
