Ákos Buzsáky found safe after being reported missing

Former Hungarian international footballer Ákos Buzsáky has surfaced after being reported missing for ten days. The 44-year-old midfielder, known for his time with Queens Park Rangers, Plymouth Argyle, and Portsmouth, broke his silence via Facebook to reassure supporters that he is safe.

Buzsáky explained that he had deliberately withdrawn from his daily routine due to significant personal challenges and life changes that had become overwhelming. He noted that his disappearance was partially due to a misunderstanding, as his mother had contacted the Hungarian authorities out of concern for his well-being.

The search had drawn international attention, with concern expressed by his former English clubs and fans in Hungary and abroad. Upon learning that a formal search had been initiated, Buzsáky ended his period of isolation and notified the authorities to resolve the situation.
