Ákos releases new Christmas album and announces Budapest concert

Hungarian singer-songwriter Ákos has released a new Christmas album titled ‘Karácsony – Az ünnep dalai’. The collection features fifteen tracks, including various covers and two original compositions, ‘Születésnap’ and ‘Hidd el’.

Ákos performed all instrumental tracks on the album himself. The recording process began following the 2024 Christmas season. The artist noted that the project was nearly complete when he was diagnosed with a cancerous disease this spring, which required surgery and led to the cancellation of his summer performances. Following a successful surgery and recovery, he will present the new material at a concert in the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna on December 12.
