Koshien Station adopts Vaundy’s ‘Kagerou’ as train melody for 108th High School Baseball Championship

Hanshin Electric Railway Co., part of Hankyu‑Hanshin Holdings, will replace the standard train‑arrival jingle at Koshien Station with a special arrangement of Vaundy’s song “Kagerou.” The 10‑second excerpt of the chorus will play from the first train on 5 August until the final service on the tournament’s scheduled closing day, 22 August. The change coincides with the 108th National High School Baseball Championship, marking the 13th occasion the station’s melody has been altered for the summer tournament (previously in 2013‑2019 and 2021‑2025). Music producer Miki 向谷実 created the unique arrangement. All other stations on the line will retain the usual melody “The tracks continue forever.”
