Kosmos Innovation Center AgriTech Challenge Pro teams begin first pitches

The 2026 Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) AgriTech Challenge Pro has reached a milestone as participating teams commenced their first pitch. The program aims to transition young entrepreneurs from innovative concepts to viable agribusinesses by addressing challenges within Ghana’s agricultural and food value chains.

As part of the Initiative for Youth in Agricultural Transformation (IYAT)—a partnership between the Mastercard Foundation and KIC Ghana—the challenge focuses on product development and food innovation. Participants have received structured training, coaching, and mentorship to refine business models, market access, financial management, and investor readiness.

Through this support, teams are encouraged to develop practical solutions that respond to market needs, with the ultimate goal of creating jobs and contributing to the growth of the Ghanaian agricultural sector.
