Kosovo average net salary rises 53% amid high inflation

In Kosovo, the average net salary has increased by approximately 53 percent over the last five years. According to data from the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, the average monthly net wage rose from 416 euros in 2020 to 636 euros in 2025.

However, this increase in nominal wages has been significantly offset by rising living costs. The general price level has increased by roughly 27.7 percent during this period, while the cost of food and non-alcoholic beverages has risen by approximately 42 percent. To maintain the same purchasing power that 416 euros provided in 2020, a salary of approximately 531 euros would have been required by 2025.
