Kosovo officials and citizens are commemorating the 28th anniversary of the deaths of Fehmi and Xheva Lladrovci. The couple, prominent figures in the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), died on September 22, 1998, during a battle against Serbian forces in Çiçavicë.

Albulena Haxhiu, the acting President of Kosovo, paid tribute to the pair, noting their shared commitment to the cause of Kosovo's independence. She highlighted that Fehmi Lladrovci, commander of the 114th Brigade, had been a political activist since the 1980s and endured imprisonment in Yugoslav jails before the conflict.

Memorial services were organized at the Martyrs' Cemetery Complex in Gllanasellë to honor the couple and other fallen fighters.
