Zveçan barricades: Two defendants sentenced in Prishtina court
The Basic Court in Prishtina has issued sentences against two defendants involved in the 2022 barricades in Zveçan, northern Kosovo. Dushan Dobrac received a one-year prison sentence, while Millosh Radosavljeviq was sentenced to nine months. Both defendants reached plea agreements with the Special Prosecution, admitting to charges including joining unconstitutional activities to attack the constitutional order and, in Dobrac's case, obstructing an official in the performance of duties.
The court separated the proceedings for Radosavljeviq and Dobrac from the other four defendants due to these agreements. The remaining trial, involving Dushan Maksimoviq, Nemanja Joloviq, Sërgjan Vuçiniq, and Nenad Orloviq, has been postponed until September 15. The delay occurred because Nenad Orloviq failed to appear in court. According to police reports, authorities attempted to execute an arrest warrant for Orloviq on August 27, but he was not found at his residence; neighbors indicated he is currently living in Serbia.
