Kosovo Police arrest Interpol fugitives and seize smuggled electronics

Kosovo authorities have conducted several operations targeting international fugitives and smuggling. In Prishtina and Istog, police arrested two individuals wanted by Interpol, including a German citizen and a Kosovar national. The latter, identified as Dukagjin Ademaj, was reportedly wanted by Luxembourg authorities for theft.

In a separate operation in Gjakovë, customs officials seized 121 iPhone and Samsung mobile phones. The devices, found in a business and a residential warehouse, lacked documentation proving their legal origin or customs clearance. Authorities have initiated procedures to verify the provenance of the electronics.

Additionally, two Kosovar nationals from Vushtrri, aged 22 and 24, were arrested at the Morinë border crossing. They were wanted by German authorities and sentenced to 15 years in prison each for violent theft and property damage. They are currently awaiting extradition to Germany.
