Albanian police seize 5 kg cannabis and arrest four in Vlorë and Sarandë

The Albanian Police carried out two coordinated operations, code‑named “Siguria” in Vlorë and “Transportuesit” in Sarandë, within a 24‑hour period. In Vlorë, 30‑year‑old suspect E. O. was arrested after officers found a pistol with six rounds, 2.18 g of cocaine and 4.46 g of cannabis in his bag. In Sarandë, three men – A. N. (31), K. J. (26) and A. C. (30) – were detained while transporting a vehicle loaded with approximately 5 kg of cannabis suspected for distribution in Sarandë and Ksamil. The operation also resulted in the seizure of two cars used by the suspects and additional drug material. All procedural documents have been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for further action.
