Kosovo election commission completes vote count in nine municipalities
The Central Election Commission of Kosovo announced that nine municipal counting centres have finished tallying votes for parliamentary candidates and verifying party results. The municipalities are Juniku, Shtërpca, Hani i Elezit, Parteshi, Mamusha, Zubin Potoku, Zveçani, Kllokoti and Novobërda. Counting and verification continue in 29 other centres, with 902 polling stations processed out of a total of 2,498, representing more than 36% of the electorate.
In parallel, the commission has retrieved over 85,700 ballot‑box packages from postal boxes in 22 countries for diaspora voting. The largest shipments came from Berlin (41,561 packages), followed by Bern, Stockholm and Paris. The boxes are now being examined to ensure they were submitted by registered voters and to prevent duplicate voting.
