Kosovo election results show AAK leaders Haradinaj and Gjini leading the vote count

The Central Election Commission in Kosovo has counted over 80% of votes in the parliamentary election. Among candidates of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Ardian Gjini leads with 33,858 votes, followed by party leader Ramush Haradinaj with 30,514 and Daut Haradinaj with 23,052. Other AAK candidates also appear in the top‑ten list, including Besnik Tahiri (19,878 votes) and Bekë Berisha (16,401 votes).

Preliminary results for all parties indicate that the Vetëvendosje movement is projected to receive about 43% of the seats (≈48 deputies), the Democratic Party of Kosovo about 21% (≈24 deputies), the Democratic League of Kosovo roughly 18% (≈20 deputies), and AAK around 7% (≈8 deputies). The vote‑counting process will continue with ballots from diplomatic missions being tallied later in the day.
