Kosovo football clubs knocked out of Europa competition as baseball team set for Mediterranean Games debut

Two Kosovan football clubs were eliminated from the UEFA Europa Conference League. FC Ballkani fell 5‑4 on penalties to Bohemians after a 3‑2 home win, while KF Malisheva lost 4‑1 to Scottish side Hibernian following a 2‑0 victory in the previous round.

In a separate development, Kosovo will make its first appearance in Baseball5 at the 2026 Mediterranean Games in Taranto. The Federation of Baseball and Softball of Kosovo named eight athletes to represent the nation, marking a historic entry for the sport and aiming to raise Kosovo’s profile on the international stage.
