Kosovo hosts 12th edition of Diplomatic School for Young Diplomats

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo, through the Diplomatic Academy of the Republic of Kosovo, has launched the 12th edition of the Diplomatic School for Young Diplomats. The program is themed ‘Small States – Smart Diplomacy: Security and International Cooperation in Times of Global Uncertainty.’

The opening ceremony included Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Kreshnik Ahmeti. The session has gathered 39 young diplomats from various countries alongside 10 diplomats from Kosovo’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora.

During his address, Prime Minister Kurti emphasized that Kosovo’s experience serves as a relevant starting point for discussions on the challenges shaping international relations. He noted that diplomacy and international cooperation have been vital to Kosovo’s journey from state-building to active participation in regional and international affairs. He also highlighted the importance of building bridges through dialogue, regardless of cultural differences.
