Kosovo hosts summer cultural festivals Mokra n’Fest and PrizrenFest
The Mokra region will welcome the seventh edition of “Mokra n’Fest 2026” on 8 August, featuring traditional music, folk dances, local cuisine such as lakror and kulaç, and exhibitions of the area’s Illyrian heritage. Prime Minister Edi Rama highlighted the festival’s goal of turning Mokra into a living cultural destination and boosting local tourism.
From 21 to 27 July, Prizren will host the fifth edition of PrizrenFest, an open‑air international theatre festival. The opening performance, “Borderless Body,” combines contemporary dance and physical theatre on a stage built over the Lumbardh River. Over 250 artists from around the world will present more than 20 shows, workshops and events, reinforcing the city’s role as a cultural hub in the region.
