Kosovo LDK deputy criticizes government over 7.8% inflation

Hykmete Bajrami, a deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has criticized the Kosovo government regarding rising living costs. She noted that inflation reached 7.8% in September.

Bajrami argued that there have been no structural or fiscal reforms over the last six years to assist citizens and businesses. She claimed that while citizens and businesses are paying more for goods and services, the government is benefiting from increased revenues through Value Added Tax (VAT) and other taxes. She characterized the current administration as a populist distributor of the budget rather than a reformer.
