Kosovo organizations honor KLA veterans and sacrifices

The “All for the Warrior” Initiative has presented a special recognition to the Islamic Community of Kosovo to honor its ongoing support for freedom fighters, families of martyrs, disabled veterans, and Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) veterans. Ismail Selmani, known as Commander Mala, presented the award to Mufti Naim ef. Tërnava, citing the community’s “valuable contribution, continuous support, and sincere solidarity” as a testament to high human and national values.

In related reflections on the struggle for independence, Agron Dedivanaj emphasized that Kosovo’s freedom was achieved through the blood and sacrifice of many Albanian families. He highlighted the contributions of KLA soldiers and specifically noted the sacrifices made by the Haradinaj family during the war. Dedivanaj remarked that while political views may differ in a democracy, the sacrifices made for the country’s freedom must never be forgotten.
