Kosovo detains man for threatening Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla

Kosovo police arrested a suspect and ordered a 48‑hour detention on suspicion of threatening Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla through social‑media posts. The prosecutor’s office cited article 181 of the Kosovo Penal Code on "threatening". The detained individual has been identified as Remzi Hajzeraj, the brother of Peja municipal official Januz Hajzeraj. Remzi Hajzeraj has worked for years in the Peja municipality and previously headed the local cultural centre. Prosecutors have said all investigative measures are being taken to fully assess the case.
