Kosovo police seize illegal logging equipment in Kaçanik

Police in the Kaçanik area halted a pickup after its driver was observed cutting trees with a motorbike. The motorbike was confiscated and a forest theft case was opened by the state prosecutor. Two additional pickups with local plates were also identified; their drivers received tickets for driving with expired registration, while the other motorbikes were seized.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts to protect Kosovo’s forests from unauthorized cutting.
