Kosovo presents Prishtina 2030 preparations at ICMG Assembly
The International Committee for Mediterranean Games (ICMG) is holding its General Assembly in Taranto, Italy. A key objective of the meeting is the election of a new president for the upcoming term, alongside discussions regarding the future of the Mediterranean Games.
Kosovo is playing an active role in the assembly as it prepares to host the “Prishtina 2030” Mediterranean Games. Blerim Gashani, the Acting Minister of Youth and Sport, is expected to present the progress made so far to representatives from various Olympic committees and ICMG officials.
Kosovo aims to demonstrate its capacity to host major international sporting events by advancing organizational, athletic, and infrastructural preparations. The assembly provides an opportunity for Kosovo to brief new ICMG leadership on current projects and the concrete steps planned for the coming years.
