Kosovo President meets Hungarian leaders in Budapest

Kosovo President Justina Shiroka-Pula met with Hungarian Prime Minister Peter Magyar and President Andras Baka during a visit to Hungary. The discussions focused on deepening bilateral cooperation in sectors including economy, education, and defense.

During the meetings, President Shiroka-Pula requested Hungarian support for Kosovo’s European integration and its progress toward candidate status for EU membership. She also expressed gratitude for Hungary’s contribution to the KFOR mission, noting its importance for regional security and stability.

Following the diplomatic meetings, the President attended a solemn commemoration at the Opera Theatre marking the 70th anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution.
