Kosovo Security Force to join international mission in Gaza

The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) will participate in the International Stabilizing Force (ISF) mission in Gaza following the signing of a participation agreement. The agreement was signed in Pristina during an official visit by the ISF Commander, Major General Jasper Jeffers, in the presence of Acting Defense Minister Ejup Maqedonci and Peace Board representatives.

Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, Commander of the FSK, stated that participation in international security missions aligns with Kosovo’s vision to contribute concretely to global peace and security. The FSK aims to transition from a security importer to a security exporter by increasing its international contributions.

Major General Jeffers praised Kosovo’s readiness to contribute, emphasizing the importance of the FSK’s role in efforts toward peace, security, and stability.
