Kosovo Superliga prepares for 2026/27 season launch

The Kosovo Superliga is set to begin its 2026/27 season starting August 14, 2026. Agim Ademi, President of the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK), announced that the federation is organizationally prepared, with updated competition regulations and ongoing seminars for delegates and referees to ensure clarity in match management.

A major development for this edition is the integration of women's football, as Superliga clubs are working toward forming their own women's teams.

The opening week features matches spread across three days. The schedule begins on Friday with Feronikeli ’74 against Gjilan. Saturday includes Drenica versus Dukagjini and Vushtrria against Malisheva. The week's highlight is a Sunday derby between Prishtina and Ballkani at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium, followed by Drita versus Llapi.
