Kosovo tax authority ramps up wedding‑season inspections of singers, venues and related businesses

The Kosovo Tax Administration (ATK) has intensified operational controls and inspections during the high‑revenue wedding season. The agency will verify tax declarations and compliance of dozens of activities that profit from family celebrations, focusing on wedding halls, hotels, singers and musical groups, DJs, videographers, photographers, bridal clothing providers, makeup artists, hairstylists, decorators, lighting and special‑effects firms, car‑rental services, confectioners and florists.

ATK urges citizens to report suspected tax evasion through the electronic DENONCO platform or the hotline 038 222 165. It reminds all businesses and individuals offering services for payment to declare income and pay taxes. Data show that from January to August 2024, singers alone contributed about €2.3 million in tax revenue.
