Kosovo vote count shows Vetëvendosje’s Arton Konushevci near parliament, Serbian list tops Serb municipalities
Vote counting in Kosovo’s parliamentary election has reached about 60% of the ballots. Vetëvendosje candidate Arton Konushevci has so far received 13,582 votes, putting him in a strong position to enter the Assembly for the first time if the trend continues.
In the ten Serb‑majority municipalities, the Serbian List secured majorities across the board. Party leader Zlatan Elek led with 21,855 votes, followed by Igor Simić (19,331), Srđan Popović (18,393) and others. Turnout percentages ranged from 52% in Klokot to over 90% in Zveçan, with the list’s vote share between 64% and 90% in the various areas.
The results illustrate a clear split between the Albanian‑majority vote, where Vetëvendosje candidates are gaining ground, and the Serb‑majority enclaves, where the Serbian List dominates.
