Kossuth Rádió has officially relaunched with a new program structure and a renewed focus on public service broadcasting. The relaunch, which began at 4:30 AM on Monday, August 24, was marked by the playing of the Rákóczi-induló.

Channel director Kerényi György stated that the station aims to continuously refresh its content, retaining valuable elements while phasing out outdated ones. The new lineup includes several experienced journalists and features new programming, including podcasts and broadcasts on the old Sokol radio.

Key appointments include Bogár Zsolt and Magyari Péter as deputy editors-in-chief. Magyari is set to host a new foreign policy analysis program, 'Világrend', starting August 29, alongside a program titled 'Nyílt titok' which will investigate controversial issues from the past decades. The station's new audio identity was created by Karlovits Karlo Zsolt, featuring entirely original compositions.
