Kostadin Kostadinov addresses national division and personal legal challenges

Bulgarian presidential candidate Kostadin Kostadinov has issued statements addressing both the political climate in Bulgaria and personal financial difficulties resulting from a legal dispute.

Kostadinov criticized the current state of the Bulgarian nation, describing hatred and division as a “cancer” eroding the country. He argued that the nation requires a unifying president rather than one that escalates conflicts, specifically criticizing political opponents and the current leadership for contributing to social polarization.

In a separate appeal, Kostadinov requested public support for a family in Tsarevo seeking financial assistance for in-vitro fertilization procedures. He explained that he is unable to provide the promised help personally because his salary is being garnished due to a lawsuit filed by Daniel Lorer. Lorer is seeking 100,000 euros in damages following allegations of antisemitic remarks made on Kostadinov’s social media page. Kostadinov noted that for the next two years, only minimum wages will be available to him while the remainder of his earnings are seized to satisfy the legal claim.
