Kostadin Kostadinov campaigns for neutrality and education reform
Kostadin Kostadinov, the presidential candidate for the Vazrazhdane party, has been conducting campaign visits across Bulgaria, including Sliven, Nova Zagora, and Burgas. During his meetings with citizens, Kostadinov emphasized the need for Bulgaria to maintain neutrality and act as a mediator for peace rather than being a “pawn in the game of others.” He expressed concerns regarding national security, particularly along the Black Sea border, and warned that continued support for Ukraine could lead to security threats.
In Burgas, Kostadinov also addressed the state of the national education system. Drawing on his background as a history teacher, he distributed copies of his own history textbook for primary school students, aiming to preserve Bulgarian history. He noted that his organization has distributed over 500,000 copies to combat perceived deficiencies in the current curriculum.
Kostadinov stated that his campaign priorities are based on a survey of over 16,000 citizens, focusing on national independence, economic prosperity, national unity, and educational reform.
