Kostas Karamanlis rejects supporting potential new Samaras party
Former Greek Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis has explicitly rejected rumors that he would support a potential new political party led by former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. Karamanlis stated that such a move would be inconsistent with his own history and that of his family. He further clarified that he will no longer make public appearances alongside Samaras if the latter proceeds with founding a new political entity.
In contrast to Karamanlis's stance, Natalie Kakkava, an independent municipal councilor in Saronikos, has expressed her readiness to support Samaras in any future political endeavor. Kakkava indicated she would stand on the front lines of any new initiative Samaras decides to undertake, citing her political convictions and respect for the former leader.
