Kostas Slukas discusses injury setbacks and recovery

Panathinaikos captain Kostas Slukas has shared details regarding his difficult recovery process following knee surgery. The experienced playmaker is currently sidelined due to complications stemming from an arthroscopy performed on his left meniscus.

Slukas revealed that his recovery was hindered by an unexpected increase in playing time during a game against PAOK. While the original plan was to limit his involvement to under ten minutes, he ended up playing between 25 and 30 minutes, including overtime. This unexpected exertion caused his knee to swell and react poorly, forcing him to miss subsequent games and much of the summer.

Despite the setback, Slukas expressed optimism about his progress, stating he hopes to rejoin team training within the next 15 to 20 days.
