Kosuke Sekine leads Shizuoka Municipal to shutout victory

Kosuke Sekine, a second-year pitcher for Shizuoka Municipal High School, achieved his first official shutout in a 4-0 victory against Shizuoka Higashi. The win secured the team's third consecutive appearance in the prefectural tournament.

Sekine demonstrated significant resilience by pitching through injury. After being struck in the left calf by a ball during practice on the 21st, he competed while taking pain medication. Despite the injury, which briefly made walking difficult, he limited the opponent to five hits to secure the win.
