Kotake Seigikan solo comedy tour tickets sell out immediately

Kotake Seigikan, a professional lawyer and comedian, has announced that tickets for his upcoming solo live tour, ‘Benron 2026’, sold out on the first day of general sales. The tour will visit four cities—Miyagi, Fukuoka, Kyoto, and Tokyo—with a total expected attendance of approximately 12,000 people.

The tour’s finale will be held at the Tokyo Garden Theater, which has a capacity of about 8,000. This marks the first time a solo comedian will perform a stand-alone show at this venue.

Reflecting on the rapid sell-out, Kotake expressed mixed feelings. While acknowledging the achievement, he noted that from an economic perspective, the immediate sell-out represents an ‘opportunity loss’ because many people who wish to attend are unable to secure seats. He remarked, ‘In short, although I am being praised, I have failed in management.’ He stated his goal is to focus on making the actual performances a great success to compensate for the missed opportunities.
