Kotaro Koizumi discusses family anecdotes on TV Asahi

On the October 9 broadcast of the TV Asahi program ‘Tsurube Kotaro Star no Ima wo Chosa!’, actor Kotaro Koizumi and former Minister Nobuteru Ishihara shared personal anecdotes.

Ishihara, who retired from politics last year, appeared alongside his wife, Risa. He shared footage of a private meal with former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi, a moment that surprised Kotaro Koizumi during the show. The program also featured singer Kiyoshi Hikawa, who discussed his career evolution and the impact of his hit ‘Genkai Toppa x Survivor’.

During the discussion, Kotaro Koizumi recalled the surprise announcement of his brother Shinjiro Koizumi’s marriage to Christel Takigawa. Kotaro described the shock of the sudden revelation, noting that Shinjiro had teased him by saying the partner was someone he would definitely know before showing him a photo of Takigawa.
