Koto Tangah prepares 16 venues for Padang's 42nd MTQ

The Koto Tangah district is preparing to host the 42nd Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) at the Padang city level. To accommodate the various competition branches, officials have designated 16 venues across the Air Pacah, KPIK, and Dadok Tunggul Hitam areas. These locations include mosques, schools, halls, and prayer rooms.

The main stage and opening ceremony are scheduled to take place at Lapangan Apeksi in Air Pacah. Specific venues have been assigned to different categories, such as Masjid Baiturrahmah for children's recitation and the Bagindo Aziz Khan Hall for calligraphy competitions.

As the defending overall champion, Koto Tangah has also prepared a delegation of 65 local participants. This group has undergone intensive training, including five training center sessions since April, to compete in various categories including recitation, memorization, and scientific writing.
