Kotobukiya announces Crest CR-C75U2 plastic model re-release

Kotobukiya has opened pre-orders for the Crest CR-C75U2 Melee Ver. plastic model kit. This release is part of the company’s V.I. (Variable Infinity) Series reproduction project.

The model is based on the machine featured in the opening cinematic of FromSoftware’s game, Armored Core 3. Unlike previous versions, this is a new mold product, meaning it has been recreated with updated tooling. The kit is designed for mid-to-close range combat and includes equipment such as a machine gun, laser blade, multiple missiles, and a grenade launcher.

Pre-orders are available for 9,900 yen (including tax), with a guaranteed purchase window through October 20. Kotobukiya shop customers can also receive additional weapon parts as a limited bonus. The product is scheduled for release in January 2027.
